Jewelry Care

I try my best to make quality jewelry that will last a long time. Here are a few things you can do to take care of your jewelry and extend its life.

•Store all Annie Mae jewelry in a cool and dry place. Away from humidity (Bathrooms aren't a great spot unless in a jewelry box)

•Remove jewelry before sleeping, swimming, or showering.

•Pack your jewelry in a travel case when traveling. Polymer clay is flexible and durable, but it is not indestructible.

•Clean the metal earring posts by wiping them clean with a soft cloth. I include a cleaning cloth in every order, it’s great for cleaning posts and charms. Your earring posts or charms may “change color”, this is due to oxidation and most of the time can be cleaned by wiping with a soft cloth.

•You can disinfect them with rubbing alcohol. You can clean the clay piece with mild soap and a damp cloth. But if they have painted designs or transfer papers, they will come off if you clean with alcohol.

I'd love to hear from you! If you have any questions, comments or suggestions please let me know!
